Larry Golden, Executive Biography

Lawrence (Larry) Golden
CEO of RSVP Publications

Larry Golden joined RSVP Publications in 1998 and has served as CEO since December of 2009.

As Chief Executive Officer of RSVP, Golden’s main emphasis is on the sales and marketing area. In 2010, he recognized the unique opportunity that QR code technology brought to direct marketing and developed the RSVP Talking Postcard™. The debut of Talking Postcards™ in early 2011 created a direct marketing “game changer,” as consumers  who received RSVP postcard packs eagerly scanned advertiser’s QR codes with their smartphones to view special promotions, deals and discounts.

Golden also led the way to developing a tailor-made sales training and mentoring program that is run on a weekly and monthly basis for new and experienced franchises. He has developed a 2-step program that has helped franchises have some of their most successful mailings yet, and taught them to become trusted advisors to their clients.

Golden is responsible for relationships with national accounts and key vendors, as well as supervising corporate operations.  In addition, he makes certain that RSVP Publications remains environmental responsible by using a unique combination of SFI-certified paper and printing processes for their postcard decks.

Before joining RSVP, he owned and operated several printing companies and served as a consultant to printers, and has been actively involved in the direct marketing industry for over 30 years.

Golden graduated from Trinity College, in Hartford, Conn., where he majored in Economics and Sociology.
